“My Capstone experience allowed me to ask questions that have not yet been answered and actively engage in finding answers to them.”
Evelina Simanonyte, Psychology major
You'll accomplish more faster if you set a specific goal each time you study. If you start reading without a particular purpose, you may get only a few pages read and remember very little. If you set a goal for how much you want to read and remember in a specific time period, you're more likely to complete the reading and remember it.
Come to James House and ask for a copy of our popular one-page CSC term calendar. See all your exam dates and major assignments for the term at a glance. By looking at the "big picture," you can plan your time and manage your life more easily!
A quick review of your notes after class or at the end of reading will significantly boost your long-term memory of the information. A few minutes of review every day can save you hours of time (and lots of anxiety!) before an exam.
See your professor during office hours. Find a study partner. Form a study group. Use the tutors and professionals at James House!
