laptop protection & theft prevention
FrontDoorSoftware Security
Colby-Sawyer College has established a licensing agreement with FrontDoorSoftware Security to offer laptop loss and theft prevention software as a resource to members of the College community. This software is not required, but may be used by members of the College community as a resource to help aid in the recovery of lost or stolen laptops.
Please note: Colby-Sawyer College provides FrontDoorSoftware as a resource only, and assumes no responsibility for the loss or theft of computer equipment, including computers which have FrontDoorSoftware installed on them. The College recommends that all community members take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of their personal belongings, including electronic devices. To install FrontDoorSoftware on your computer:
Colby-Sawyer College students, faculty, and staff members can now install the FrontDoorSoftware Laptop Loss & Recovery software FREE. Installations include laptop registration, new Talk feature, and 4 years of software tracking service. Protect your laptop and take advantage of this offer today.
- Select an INSTALL button below
- SAVE then RUN the program
- IMPORTANT - when creating an account, make sure you use your Colby-Sawyer College email address so we know to give you a four year free license (i.e. you@colby-sawyer.edu)
- CONNECTION CODE - Create a unique code that you will remember when asked on Step 4. This becomes your uninstall code.
- RESTART your computer to activate theft recovery tracking

Post Installation:
- Sign in at the owner link on www.frontdoorsoftware.com and make sure your program states INSTALLED.
