Chargers Drop Spring Match to Mount Holyoke

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (April 4, 2008) – The Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 triumph over Colby-Sawyer College today at the Mount Holyoke Indoor Tennis Courts. It was the Lyons second win of the spring season. They now own a perfect 4-0 mark versus the Chargers all-time.

NEW LONDON, N.H. – September 16, 2007 – The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team swept doubles play 3-0 and won five of six singles matches to defeat The Commonwealth Coast Conference rival Salve Regina 8-1 on Sunday afternoon. The win is the first for fourth year head coach Sean McCaffrey over Salve and the first over Salve for the Colby-Sawyer women's tennis program since 2002.

St. Mikes Takes Five Titles At Colby-Sawyer Shootout

NEW LONDON, N.H. – September 2, 2007 – The Colby-Sawyer women's tennis team opened the 2007 season on labor day weekend, hosting Castleton State, Plymouth State and St. Michael's College in the Colby-Sawyer Tennis Shootout. St. Michael's took home five of the six division titles, including all four singles brackets and one doubles bracket. Colby-Sawyer finished with two third-place finishes and Plymouth State took home four third-place finishes.

Women's Tennis Picked Third

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Colby-Sawyer women's tennis, last season's No. 2 seed for The Commonwealth Coast Conference tournament, has been chosen to finish third in this year's preseason poll. Defending TCCC Champion Roger Williams was selected as the favorite. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league's head women's tennis coaches.
