The Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team is looking to do what they have done almost every year since 1997; play in an NCAA or Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) post-season tournament game. The Chargers have been a model of consistent success in The Commonwealth Coast Conference play, winning five TCCC Championships, including three-straight in 1997, 1998 and 1999 and two more in 2005 and 2006.

November 6, 2007 - Colby-Sawyer College has been selected as the preseason favorite to win The Commonwealth Coast Conference women's basketball championship in 2008, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M.
