Messier Finishes 12th at ECAC Championships

PITTSBURGH, Penn. - March 2, 2008 - Senior Jamie Messier (Wiscasset, Maine) became just the second Colby-Sawyer men's swimming and diving athlete to compete in the ECAC Championships held this weekend at the University of Pittsburgh, Penn.

BRISTOL, R.I. – February 24, 2008 – The men's swimming and diving team finished in 10th place at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships this weekend at Roger Williams University with senior diver Jamie Messier (Wiscusset, Maine) leading the way with a fifth and sixth place finish.

Buonanno Qualifies for New Englands in Chargers Loss

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – February 2, 2008 – Senior Jillian Buonanno (East Lyme, Conn.) finished third in the 1000 freestyle, but qualified for New England Championships in both the 1000 and 1650, as the Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team came up short, falling to UMass-Dartmouth 169-116. The men's team also came up short against UMass-Dartmouth, falling 168-124.

Ryan Martin and John DeGray Post Season-Best Times in Losses to Wesleyan and Conn. College

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - January 26, 2008 - Sophomore Ryan Martin (Chester, N.H.) and junior John DeGray (Wethersfield, Conn.) both posted season-best times in both the 500 and 1000 yard freestyle events as the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer fell to Wesleyan and Conn. College in men's and women's swimming & diving on Saturday afternoon.

NEW LONDON, N.H. – January 19, 2008 - The Colby-Sawyer men's and women's swimming and diving teams were both winners again today, as they defeated Regis College Saturday afternoon. The women's team picked up a 155-91 victory and the men's team earned a 113-50 victory over the Pride in the Chargers last home meet of the season.

NEW LONDON, N.H. – November 3, 2007 – Keene State College captured all but two first place finishes on Saturday afternoon on their way to a convincing win over Colby-Sawyer College in men's and women's swimming and diving. The Owl's men picked up a 194-90 victory while the women handed the Chargers a 179-104 loss.

Women's Swimming and Diving Picks up First Win; Men Fall Short

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – October 27, 2007 - The Colby-Sawyer men's and women's swimming and diving team got off to an excellent start to the 2007-08 season as the women's team picked up a win over Norwich, 197-85. The men's team kept the score close, but was unable to register enough points as they fell to the Cadets 189-103.
