Another Double-Digit Win Season for the Chargers

Another men's basketball season at Colby-Sawyer, another year with double-digit wins as Head Coach Bill Foti, in his 16th season at the helm of the Chargers program, notched his 300th win. Coach Foti and the Chargers won at least 10 games for the 16th straight time, leading Colby-Sawyer to a 13-11 record and another appearance in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) tournament despite not having a senior on the roster.

Foti, Szeliga, Rosso Honored by N.H. Coaches

NEW LONDON, N.H. - March 13, 2008 - Colby-Sawyer junior Duncan Szeliga, a native of Newmarket, N.H., and sophomore David Rosso, a native of Wilmington, Vt., have been chosen to the 2008 All-State Team by the New Hampshire NCAA Division III Basketball Coaches Association. Coach Bill Foti was selected as Co-Coach of the Year, along with Rivier's David Morissette.

Chargers Fall To Hawks In TCCC Quarterfinals

BRISTOL, R.I. – February 26, 2008 - A second-half rally pushed the Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team to a 62-59 win over Colby-Sawyer College in the TCCC Quarterfinals Tuesday evening. A 6-of-24 performance from the field in the first half put the Hawks in a 28-35 deficit entering the break. Duncan Szeliga (Newmarket, N.H.) and Dave Rosso (Wilmington, Vt.) had 32 of the Chargers' points in the half, with Szeliga scoring 19 and Rosso going for 13.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – November 6, 2007 – Colby-Sawyer men's basketball has been selected to finish eighth in the upcoming The Commonwealth Coast Conference men's basketball championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Defending TCCC Champion Wentworth Institute of Technology was selected as the preseason favorite to win the league title. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league's head men's basketball coaches.
