Nineteen Chargers Named to TCCC All-Academic Team
Nineteen Colby-Sawyer athletes were named to the Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Commissioner Gregg Kaye. A total of 362 student-athletes were honored and all 14 institutions in The Commonwealth Coast Conference were represented on the Academic All-Conference Team.
Tom White Named to NEIBA All-New England First Team
Colby-Sawyer senior Tom White (Lisbon, N.H.) has earned a trip to play at Campanelli Stadium after being named to the 2009 New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association All-New England First Team. The game will be played on Thursday, June 4 with festivities beginning at 5:00 p.m. and first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m. White is one of only two players from the TCCC to be named to the first team.

Colby-Sawyer Athletics Announces Major Award Winners
The Colby-Sawyer Athletic Advisory Council announced the winners of the Male Senior Scholar-Athlete, Wynne Jesser McGrew Scholar-Athlete, the Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year and the Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year awards at the Senior Awards Banquet held on Sunday, May 3. The honorees included sophomore Danielle Shannon (Conway, N.H.), Tom White (Lisbon, N.H.), Elizabeth Ryan (Westminster, Mass.) and Patrick Benson (Essex, Vt.).
