President Galligan Moving On

Colby-Sawyer President Thomas C. Galligan Jr. announced Sept. 1 that he will step down when his second term ends on June 30, 2016. "The whole time I've been at Colby-Sawyer, one of my themes is that change is good, and it's inevitable. You have to live your message and the institution, as always, will benefit from fresh ideas."  Read more>>

Kathy Bonavist Moving In

The Alumni Office is thrilled to welcome new Vice President for Advancement Kathy Bonavist, who joins us from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. Kathy will oversee development, alumni relations, annual giving and the Adventures in Learning program for area residents. Read more>>

Presidential Fellows Moving Up

Last fall, the college launched the Presidential Fellowship Program, providing opportunities on campus for recent graduates to gain career experience. This year the Advancement Office welcomes two Fellows to the fold. Shaina Driscoll '14 will assist with Adventures in Learning while Reeve Fidler '13 helps out with annual giving. Read more>>

Alumni Awards Are Moving (Emotionally Speaking!)

Each year at Alumni Fall Festival we are very proud to honor members of our outstanding alumni community. In 2015, Zanna Campbell Blaney '00 will receive the Young Alumni Achievement Award, and Sandra Davis Carpenter '55 MT and Patricia Canby Colhoun '60 will jointly receive the Alumni Service Award.
