One of the ways I am always learning is through my involvement with the cycling team. As the captain of the team I put my education to use when I work with companies such as VOmax who is responsible for the marvelous look of the Colby- Sawyer cycling teams uniforms.

My favorite spot on campus is Kelsey Woods. The short walk to the woods next to the baseball fields helps me fully relax and unwind from the busy workdays.

The aspect I love most about Colby- Sawyer College is how learning has finally been made exciting. The riveting experience of a Colby- Sawyer classroom captivates each fortunate pupil involved.

At Colby-Sawyer, I am involved in different activities that all allow me to make connections and have experiences that I would not be able to have anywhere else. I am constantly learning skills and knowledge to enhance my career in the future post life at CSC.

My favorite spot on campus is the Susan Colgate Cleveland Library because of the historical charm that shines through the building.

I love being able to walk around campus and say hello to the friendly faces of Colby-Sawyer students and faculty everyday and being apart of the Colby-Sawyer Community.

Extracurricular Activities: I am part of ESS Club, and working part time at a nursing home

One of the ways I am always learning is through my involvement with seniors there is a local nursing home here that a class requirement is to go and make a visit which I took a lot from. A great deal of classes here offer community involvement which is always a great way to learn.

Favorite Spot at Colby-Sawyer or New London is I love the library it is great place to get my work done. I feel so at home, and it's a quiet place for me to go. It also offers great resources and help.

I love the community that makes up Colby-Sawyer. I have never experienced anything quite like it.

One of the ways I am always learning is through my involvement with Residential Education.

Favorite Spot at Colby-Sawyer or New London is Hole in the Fence Café. Aside from having really good food, I love the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff.

I love the tight, close-knit community and the various opportunities available here to grow and learn as an individual. My involvement in clubs has been a valuable platform and that is just to name a few. Colby-Sawyer College is also such a welcoming place and has become home to me.

One of the ways I am always learning is through my involvement with my professors. I am always trying to learn more and deepen my knowledge about the topics that interest me the most, especially sustainability.

Favorite Spot at Colby-Sawyer or New London is Mercer Field. It is not only my game field, but it is a place with a lot of history, great stories, and a fantastic view that can turn any bad day around.

What do you love about Colby-Sawyer College? I love that it is one big family, the people here are my family. It is great to have friends in class, and see friends on the way to class that you can interact with and it makes the learning experience that much better. Colby-Sawyer feels like home.

One of the ways i am always learning is through my involvement with proffessors and other students outside of classroom settings.

My favorite spot at Colby-Sawyer is Kelsey Fields because of its beautiful scenery and its secretive location.

What i love about Colby-Sawyer College is the short walk from Ware Student Center (dinning hall) and Ivey Science Center.

One of the ways I am always learning is through my involvement with the Campus Activities Board. I'm constantly learning about what kind of events and performances the college community likes and doesn't like.

My favorite spot on campus isWare Student Center. Being in the center of campus it is always filled with students and faculty. It's a great place to talk with friends and see different performances and events that the Campus Activities Board provides.

I love Colby-Sawyer because of the small community it provides. You get to know your classmates and professors and they get to know you.

Extracurricular Activities i am involved with are Pride, Community Service Club, Knitting Club, Rugby.

One of the ways I am always learning is through my involvement with Rugby. I'm always learning a new rule or a way to do something.

My favorite spot on campus is The library is easily my favorite spot because it's very inviting and it is a great study space.

What do you love about Colby-Sawyer College? I love Colby-Sawyer because of all of the opportunities it has given me from studying abroad to my internship to a rugby family.


Danielle Duhaime - Class of '16

Extracurricular Activities: Vice President of PRIDE, Alpha Chi and CSC Players

One of the ways I am always learning is through my involvement with PRIDE. I have been to a conference with over 600 other LGBT+ youth and took workshops on how to make the best of our meetings. I also learned a lot about myself, and Colby-Sawyer PRIDE offered me that safe space I needed to grow and discover who I am.

My favorite spot at Colby-Sawyer is Wheeler Hall in Ware Student Center. I have so many fond memories of playing the piano, watching performers, studying, and just being silly with my friends. It is one of the many spaces I truly feel home on campus.

What I love about Colby-Sawyer is that everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Even as a prospective student, I felt included in the community. The sense of belonging is very high at this school, and I feel like every time I see a new face, it is a smiling face. I also love the beautiful brick buildings, and that when I walk to Ivey, I have a view of Mount Monadnock, which is close to my home. It reminds me I am never far away from all the things I love!
