Tour and Explore the Environmental Science and Studies Major- November 4, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Faculty and students in the Environmental programs at Colby-Sawyer are excited to show you the numerous offerings within the majors. You'll attend an outside class- Exploring Nature, learn about the Community-Based research project, tour campus and visit the “green spots” on campus utilized by the major.

The schedule of events:

9:30-10:15: Registration and counselor conversations – Thornton living Room, Colgate Hall

10:15-10:45: – Admissions welcome, Thornton Living Room, Colgate Hall

10:45-12:15: – Class: Exploring Nature – this class is outside so please wear outside appropriate clothing for all weather conditions

12:15-1:00: Lunch with faculty and current students – Dining Hall, Ware Student Center

1:00-2:00: Tour of campus – Thornton Living Room

2:00-3:30: Students of the Community-Based research project will explain their work in Ivey Science Center, 113. Professors will walk visitors around to the “green spots” on campus including: The Sunshack, and community garden.
