Dates and Deadlines

Term Starting in September of 2012

Application Deadline: Applications for Fall 2012 are no longer being accepted.
Deposit Deadline: Deposits for Fall 2012 are no longer being accepted.
Final College Transcript Deadline: August 1, 2012

Term Starting January 2013

Application Deadline: Applications are available through the common application starting on August 1st 2012 and will be due by December 1, 2012
Deposit Deadline: January 1, 2013 (may not guarantee space in all academic offerings or on –campus housing. Subject to change with availability

Scholarships offered

These scholarships are awarded annually and are dependent upon good academic standing. Students will be notified of scholarship decisions at the time of admission to Colby-Sawyer.

Application Requirements

1) Application and fee: Click here for our online application. The $45 application fee is waived if you apply online. Simply check off “transfer” on the application. We do not have a separate application for transfers.
2) Essay/letter of intent: You can choose one of our essay topics or write about a topic of your choice. Some transfer students may find it appropriate to write about their transfer quest.
3) Dean's Recommendation Form: Click here for Dean's Recommendation. This form can also be faxed to us at (603)526-3452.
4) College Transcripts w/ course descriptions: We will need an official college transcript with a seal or signature on it. Course descriptions can include a course syllabi or course catalogue for courses taken.
5) High School Transcripts or GED record: Must be official copies.
6) One other recommendation: This can be from a professor or an employer. If relevant, a high school teacher may also submit a recommendation on a student's behalf.
7) SAT or ACT Scores (optional): You may choose to submit your standardized test scores if you feel they will strengthen your application, but they are not required.

Students interested in the Nursing Program

The Colby-Sawyer College nursing curriculum is designed for the student seeking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The ability to accept transfer students seeking entry into the Nursing Program will be evaluated on an individual basis and will be considered only when space permits. Priority for entrance to the nursing program is given to enrolled Colby-Sawyer College students. Further information is available from the Admissions Office and the Registrar's Office.

International Transfer Students

International students who are interested in transferring to Colby-Sawyer will work with our International Admissions staff. Please click here to view application requirements.

To Accelerate your Credit Transfers (not required)

Colby-Sawyer College can assist you in transferring your credits as quickly as possible. Simply print out this Transcript Request Form and send it to the Registrar of each college or university that you have attended.

Once we receive your transcripts, our Registrar's Office will evaluate them as quickly as possible, and we'll contact you about your credit transfers.
