What's a typical day at Colby-Sawyer like?

I could say that I have been having a busy day so far, but Colby-Sawyer provides many events on the weekend or during the week. Thus, I can relieve my stress from all my work!

What has been your favorite class and why?

My favorite class is painting class. My hobbies are drawing and painting, and I enjoy these classes very much.

Who is your favorite professor and why?

Professor Yarborough is my favorite professor. In my painting class, he always teaches us to try a new challenge and to not be afraid to make a change.

What's the biggest challenge you have faced so far?

Sharing my own opinion in the class or in front of people is not always easy thing to do, especially for Asian students because of the culture difference. However, I challenge myself to speak out in the class.

What do you do for fun in your spare time?

I spend most of my free time on the weekend with fellow student Shu Wen watching Korean drama. Recently, we went around the town to enjoy the beautiful nature in New London. I cannot wait to see the New Hampshire snow and I will definitely take tons of pictures in winter.

How do you like the town of New London?

It is a very small town, but you can enjoy lots of nature in New London. Also, people in the town are very hospitable. I think the town and our college have a very good connection.

What's your advice to students who are thinking about applying to Colby-Sawyer College?

My advice to the prospective students is to not be afraid to live in a different country, place away from your home or home country. You will have a great opportunity to explore yourself and discover your character more. And I am sure that you will treasure all these precious experiences for your whole life.
