What do you like about the area?
I love how everything is within walking distance. There are many places down Main Street to go eat and shop. Also, the atmosphere in New London is very friendly and enjoyable to be around.
What advice can you give a prospective student about the college search process?
Although the college search process is very time consuming and tedious, it is worth it in the end. My suggestion is to visit as many schools as you can. A school that you like may be a school that someone else does not like. Visiting is the way to see where you fit in, it may be at a small school or a big school, but it is hard to tell until you go and look yourself. Also, when you visit a school that you love, go back! You may see something that you did not see on your first visit.
What is your favorite area on campus?
My favorite area on campus is the library. The library was a selling point for me at this school because it is so quite. It is a place to go where there are no distractions and I almost feel as if I am sitting right at home! Also, during finals week they always have out homemade treats to keep us going!
Something about myself
Joining dance club my Freshman year was probably one my best decisions. Before College I danced for 12 years, and it is amazing that I can continue that!
