At Colby-Sawyer we strive to acknowledge the abilities and accomplishments of our students. Through a variety of scholarships and awards, the college recognizes and rewards academic achievement, community service and leadership experience.
There is not a seperate application or deadline for these academic scholarships. They are awarded annually and are dependent upon good academic standing. Students will be notified of scholarship decisions at the time of admission to Colby-Sawyer.
Requirements: Minimum 3.5 GPA and 1150 SAT (combined critical reading and math sections) or 25 ACT score
Value: $12,000
Other Notes: Includes direct admission into the Wesson Honors Program. It is renewable annually for four years of study dependent upon good academic standing in the Wesson Honors Program.

Value: $9,000
Other Notes: Renewable annually for four years of study dependent upon good academic standing.
Requirements: A minimum 3.0 GPA
Value: $7,000
Other Notes: Renewable annually for four years dependent upon full-time enrollment and good academic standing.
Colby-Sawyer College acknowledges the unique talents and interests of our students through our Merit Awards. Awards will be available in fields such as leadership, The Office of Admission will send merit applications to all eligible students at the point of acceptance.

Colby-Sawyer is committed to enrolling students who will bring with them diverse backgrounds, distinctive abilities, talents, experiences, and world views.
The Diverse Perspectives Scholarship is awarded to first year students and ranges in value between $4,000 and $7,000.
The scholarship will be continued through 4 years of attendance provided the student remains in good academic standing.
Applicants for the scholarship are be evaluated on the personal statement included within this application, the rigor of the academic program on the high school transcript, and the level of academic success in high school. Students who are awarded the Diverse Perspectives Scholarship must attend Colby-Sawyer to receive it. Other scholarships and financial aid may also be applied for. If students are eligible for several scholarships, they will receive the scholarship with the highest value for which they are eligible.

Colby-Sawyer also has many endowed scholarships that are given to students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in high school or while attending college. These awards may have specific criteria, including financial need, and are not automatically renewed each year.
Generally, outside scholarships are used to fill unmet need. If there is no remaining unmet need the financial aid award offered may be adjusted. All outside scholarships must be reported to the Financial Aid Office.
