  • Students may only apply for one Merit Award.
  • Early Action students are eligible and welcome to apply for these awards.
  • As a Division III college, Colby-Sawyer is not permitted to award any scholarship money based on athletic involvement. Therefore, athletic leadership (being a team captain, for example) can not be considered when reviewing a merit application.

These awards range from $2,000-$4,000 and selection will be based on the student's demonstrated skill or involvement in these designated areas. Faculty members are included in the evaluation process for these awards.

Merit awards may supplement the previously listed academic scholarships and are renewable annually for four years of study dependent upon full-time enrollment and the student's good academic standing. Current Colby-Sawyer students are not eligible to apply.
