2010-2011 Award Letter Update

Colby-Sawyer will send award letters to all 2010-2011 first-year students who have completed the FAFSA starting the first week of March. The award will be sent through email as well as postal mail.

First-year students can view our Award Letter Guide for help reviewing their award.

Current Colby-Sawyer students should receive their award letter in April.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Students applying for financial aid must complete the online FAFSA application.
Step One: Visit www.pin.ed.gov to apply for student and parent Personal Identification Number (PIN). This will serve as your electronic signature on the form.
Step Two: Complete FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Deadlines and Info

  • First-year and returning students: Priority deadline to complete FAFSA is March 1, 2010.
  • FAFSA applications received after March 1, 2010 will be subject to reduced financial assistance based on fund availability.
  • Colby-Sawyer's federal school code for the FAFSA is 002572.
