Joined the faculty in 2009. Received an A.A.S. in Liberal Arts from Colby-Sawyer College, a B.A. in Physics from Colorado College, and an M.A. in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University. Teaching interests include environmental issues, whole systems health and sustainability, and the psychology of change. Research interests include voluntary simplicity, values-supported behavior change, and the relationships between the development of personal integrity, global ethics, and whole systems sustainability.

Professor White is also the Sustainability Coordinator for the college and oversees all of our GreenROUTES Initiatives. In that role she provides advice and guidance to the President, Senior Officers and the college community regarding ways for us to meet our carbon reduction goals and promote greater personal wellbeing, social justice, economic stability and environmental balance, both locally and globally.

She is also a professional vocalist and performer who with her partner has recorded several CDs and appeared on NPRs A Prairie Home Companion and the Hallmark Channel.
