Joined faculty in 1995. Received B.A. from the University of British Columbia, M.A. from Washington State University, and Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. Professor Ewing is an authority in education theory and applications, focusing on how children acquire language, reading and math skills. Teaching interests include Child Development, Early Childhood Education language arts, reading, and mathematics, Cognitive and Language Development.
