Colby-Sawyer's faculty includes scholars, researchers, artists, writers, trainers, medical practitioners, business men and women and other active professionals whose primary focus is teaching and preparing undergraduates for productive, fulfilling lives. Small classes, a close-knit, residential campus community and frequent opportunities for formal and informal teaching allow our faculty to offer personalized instruction to their students.
The college's faculty and staff participate with students in activities and learning experiences across the college in classrooms, in residence halls, during community service activities and at cultural and social events.
Students benefit from a broad liberal education combined with practical hands-on experiences (such as internships) that involve the active, real-world application of their learning, all under the guidance of faculty and staff. This combination of experiences prepares our graduates unusually well for advanced study and for the world of work.
