academic enrichment programs

Students who thrive on greater challenges and new experiences may participate in academic enrichment programs such as the Student Exchange, Study Abroad programs and The Wesson Honors Programs.

Student Exchange Program

Through the Student Exchange Program our students are eligible to participate in student exchanges, special workshops and seminars, enlarged library resources and full- and part-time study at a number of institutions who belong to the New Hampshire College and University Council.

The NHCUC's academic consortium includes Daniel Webster College, Franklin Pierce College, Keene State College, New England College, Plymouth State College, Rivier College, Saint Anselm College, Southern New Hampshire University and the University of New Hampshire, as well as Colby-Sawyer College.

Study Abroad Program

Colby-Sawyer's Study Abroad Program is administered though the Institute for Study Abroad of Butler University, which offers programs for study abroad in countries such as Argentina, Australia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Students interested in studying abroad may apply for the Michael Alexander Weiner Fellowship.

Wesson Honors Program

The Wesson Honors Program is also available to qualified talented and motivated students who seek greater challenges in their course work and extracurricular activities. Students who qualify for the program can participate in a variety of interdisciplinary courses, attend special events, or take part in annual Wesson Honors Weekends, in which students and faculty visit culturally rich cities around the United States.
