In this third installment of a six-part series, Colby-Sawyer President Tom Galligan discusses the college's progress amid the most difficult economic times in the nation since the Great Depression. Despite the credit crunch and widespread job insecurity, Colby-Sawyer has bucked national trends by attracting a record number of applications and growing percentage of alumni who contribute to the college. The college has continued to invest in its campus and most importantly, in its students, offering more than 90 percent of them significant amounts of financial aid.
