175 Acts of Community Service

Fifty-five students made 125 cards to send to soldiers, airmen, and seaman as part of Operation Write Home.

The college community is invited to participate in 175 Acts of Service, an initiative coordinated by Student Development. We are challenging our students to complete a Year of Service in honor of their college’s anniversary, and faculty and staff are also invited to join the effort. We’ve identified potential service opportunities for each month through May 2013 on campus and in the local communities.

If you have an idea for a service project you would like us to include, please contact Associate Dean of Students and Director of Citizenship Education Robin Burroughs Davis at rdavis@colby-sawyer.edu.

Colby-Sawyer students, faculty and staff can log in here for more information on how to participate in the monthly activities that celebrate our college.

This initiative focuses on our themes of Engaged Learning, Living Sustainably, and Linking to the World.
