It's a Parade!
Colby-Sawyer College and many of our community members and organizations joined New London's 88th Hospital Days Parade on Aug. 4, 2012, in the first event celebrating the college's 175th anniversary. Behind a banner Celebrating 175 Years Together, the college contingent made up the largest group in the parade. Many wore T-shirts featuring the college's new visual identity. The marchers included students, faculty, staff, alumni and trustees, along with a former equestrian team member and friend riding horses, and a professor of dance and her student, who danced to music along Main Street. Representatives from Adventures in Learning; Chargers Club; Colby-Sawyer Singers; Follett Bookstore; Friends of the Library; Friendship Families; Gordon Research; Hogan Day Camp; Hogan Sports Center; Sodexo Dining & Facilities; President's Community Forum; and Windy Hill School also participated. Thanks to everyone who joined the parade!
